TOURNAMENT RULES

WE APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERYONE OF OUR SLAYERS AND DIRECTORS

WE ARE ALL HELD LIABLE TO ABIDE BY THE RULES SET FORTH AND RESPECT THEM, ONE ANOTHER AND THE DIRECTOR MAKING THE RIGHT CALLS. WE WANT TO ASSURE ALL ANGLERS COMPETING  IN OUR EVENTS TAKE LIABILITY ON UNDERSTAING AND FOLLOWING THE RULES AS WELL.

Always remember to have fun, be competitive, but most importantly have fun!

The Following Rules are to be implemented in ALL of our Tournament Series:

Series wide Rule***

ALL Kayak Anglers must wear a Coast Guard Certified PFD and it must be completely secured and zipped the entire event or you will be disqualified from that event!!!

ZERO TOLERANCE ***

The use of Alcohol or drugs during tournament hours is Prohibited! Caught doing so will result in a disqualification in that event!

Forms- ALL members must have a signed LIABILITY WAIVER & Membership Form given to the Director in order to compete. If both of those forms are not given by the first event you fish, YOU MAY NOT COMPETE!!!

ENTRY FEES:

 

Entry fee- ($55 ) cash or  PayPal through TourneyX registration- (Depending on what your trail decides) : This Entry fee is the same if you fish as a team or solo in the HP or Small Vessel Series! It is also the same entry fee for the Kayak Series.

The Payout Breakdown is on the Tournament Series page that you will be participating in and may vary depending on if your series uses Tourneyx or not! TourneyX charges a $5 per angler fee and PayPal fees come out to over $2 per transaction.

The Lady Slayers Online Series and Next Generation Online Series have different entry fees! See those Tournament Series pages for that information.

Appropriate fishing and boating licenses must be on the Anglers at all times! Be sure to check your state law on having any motors on your vessel! Same goes for safe boating licenses where applicable!

Anglers under the age of 18 yrs. Old, must have a signed Parent Consent Form will all of the correct Parent Contact info. (available on the Membership page)

CATCH, PHOTO, RELEASE RULES

(the following are the same rules across every series)

 

Please keep in mind that trails in different states may have different Minimum size requirements. Directors please be aware of those laws and let Anglers know in advance!  Otherwise it is a      12 inch minimum * (each trail may have thier own lentgh requirement- like 10 inch mininum)

-5 Best bass ( largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass)

-NO LIVE BAIT! Artificial Baits Only!

-When measuring a fish please be aware of SUN GLARE on your board. It will make it very difficult to judge and will be DENIED!! Make sure mouth is visible in all pics, no shady pics will be accepted!

​

-Identifier Codes: Each Director will create their own unique code for you specific event, it will be anywhere from 1 -4 digits and accessible on your tourneyx dashboard, emailed or given the night prior or morning of. That identifier code MUST be in every pic you submit for that event or it will not count! this helps combat cheating.

  • All Anglers must use a certified Hawg Trough or Ketch Board to measure their catch. You may not use any measuring board that folds or that is retractable. Check with your director if you are not sure if your measuring board is legal!

  • All Hawg Troughs must be properly lined with a black sharpie and so should the crease where the bump fence is!

  • S.N.T.F. uses the C.P.R method in our events. Catch, Photo, Release. 

​

  • PROPER MEASURING:

  • All fish must be measured left to right on the bump board from an aerial photo, making sure that your left knee is to the left while taking the picture. 

  •  Mouth is completely closed facing to the left and touching the bump fence to get full credit!

  • if mouth is open at all , results in a 1/4  inch deduction.

  •  Dorsal Fin up (closest to top of picture) 

  •  Tail is to the right of the picture.

  •  The fish cannot be measured upside down!!!!ANY FISH IN THE PIC  NOT MEASURED FACING LEFT TO RIGHT , WILL NOT BE COUNTED!!!!   

  • The Fishes mouth must be placed against the bump FENCE! If it is not, it will result in a 1/4 inch deduction!

  • Hand may never be placed under the gill plate - DENIED FISH 

  • Hand may never completely cover the face- DENIED FISH

  • If any part of NO TOUCH ZONE is covered- DENIED FISH

  • All fished are measured by ¼ inch, we Round Down not up.

  • If an angler is caught cheating they will be terminated from all S.N.T.F events and there will be no refund from either the membership fee or the entry fee that day!

  • NO TROLLING!!!!Meaning dragging a lure behind the vessel as a way of angling!

  • THE SAME FISH may never be submitted twice in an event! Automatic disqualification from that event and possible termination from all Slay Nation Events!

  • 1st,2nd, 3rd Places and Monster Big Bass of the Event will be rewarded a Cash Prize the same day of the event. All others will be entered in for raffle prizes.

Point Standings

SMALL BOAT SERIES & HORSE POWER SERIES

  • Each teams total length of fish will be counted towards their point totals, teams or solo anglers will drop thier lowest score.

  • Meaning if a team caught a total of 50 inches of bass in an event, that equals out to 50 points for that event. 

  • The team or angler with the highest total points at the end of that season will be named ANGLER/S OF THE YEAR!!!!

 

KAYAK SERIES

  • The highest total accumulated points will determine the AOY Winner. Each club may have their own AOY credentials and will relay those to the club prior to the season start.*****
